The Cabot Montessori School
opened in early 2007.
It started with the head teacher/owner and two students. Since then, it has blossomed! The school is based in a renovated house which hosts a Toddler room big enough for 13 students, (18 months - 2 1/2), and a preschool room big enough for 18, 3-6 year olds. There are plans for the future to build another classroom and separate the three year olds from the 4 and 5 year olds. The house and it's surrounding land is in an attractive area which is convenient for commuters who use HWY 67/167. New Website! Welcome to this new website! We are approaching the end of our Spring Semester at the school. This week we said goodbye to the Irby family who have moved to Cabot. This was a sad event. But we did tried to combine it with a happy event - Red day! We celebrated the color red with red snacks, red clothes and chats about all things red. It was great! On April 8th, we held a sponsored Trike-a-Thon, to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. With 17 participants, we were still able to collect $900 for the Hospital! Our Summer school officially begins on June 8th. We have openings specifically for the Summer. Next Fall we have openings for the Toddler class still (18 months - 2 1/2). |
